Weissach, the valhalla of the German car freak. The giant Porsche site stretches between the woods and fields near Stuttgart. The principle is simple
The pedals set the stair shaft in motion with two gears on top that rotate a third on a different axle. What exactly depends on your acceleration. When you switch, you always turn a different gear, with teeth further or closer together. The combination of both gear pairs determines your vitesse. You can skip a few gears when switching. Even when you’re standing still.
